The 136th China Import and Export Fair

The 136th Canton Fair will be held in three phases in Guangzhou from October 15th to November 4th, 2024. On the 15th, the 136th China Import and Export Fair opened in Guangzhou.

The theme of this year's Canton Fair is "Serving High Quality Development and Promoting High Level Opening up". The total exhibition area is 1.55 million square meters, with a total of 74000 booths and 55 exhibition areas and 171 special zones. The three phases focus on the themes of "advanced manufacturing", "quality home", and "beautiful life", and attract new high-quality productivity.

There are over 30000 participating companies in offline exhibitions, including about 29400 export exhibition companies, an increase of nearly 800 compared to the previous edition. A large number of new enterprises, products, technologies, and business models have emerged. Nearly 4600 new exhibiting companies. More than 8000 enterprises have been awarded titles such as national high-tech, specialized and innovative "little giant", and manufacturing industry champions, with an increase of over 40% compared to the previous edition. There are about 3600 companies related to "New Three Types", digital technology, and intelligent manufacturing, over 14000 companies with independent brands, and more than 18000 companies that have passed various international certifications.

On site, 1.15 million new products, 1.04 million green products, and 1.11 million independent intellectual property products will be exhibited, all of which have significantly increased compared to the previous edition. Organize about 400 new product launch events, an increase of over 30% compared to the previous edition. This year's Canton Fair has also optimized the cross-border e-commerce display area and trade service area, providing exhibitors with full chain trade services. At the same time, import exhibitions will continue to be set up in three exhibition periods, with an exhibition area of 30000 square meters, attracting 730 companies from 49 countries and regions to participate.
